Death Cab for Cutie, Franz Ferdinand, the Cribs Concert at the Tweeter Center, Camden, New Jersey

I saw the sold out Death Cab for Cutie, Franz Ferdinand, and the Cribs show at the Tweeter Center in Camden, New Jersey last night. Death Cab for Cutie are: Benjamin Gibbard, Nicholas Harmer, Jason McGerr, and Christopher Walla. They perform well live--excellent musicianship. Some of the songs DCfC played were: Different Names For The Same Thing, Soul Meets Body, I Will Follow You Into The Dark, Crooked Teeth, What Sarah Said, The New Year, Expo '86, The Sound of Settling, Transatlanticism, A Movie Script Ending, and We Looked Like Giants. Onstage, the group had a white house that was lit up from the inside with colored, flashing lights. I particularly liked the drums in "Different Names For The Same Thing" and I also really liked "Crooked Teeth." The set was, overall, really great, and they played for about an hour and twenty minutes. The music is a pleasant mix of acoustic guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, keyboards, drums, some interesting sound effects, and strong vocals. Check them out!

Franz Ferdinand also put on a good show, and they played a new track I hadn't heard before. You may like the crew hailing from Glasgow as well. The spring tour was well worth checking out, and it was definitely worth the trip down to Camden, New Jersey. Fortunately, I did not get lost while driving to and from the venue.
